Gedit no protocol specified11/10/2023 ![]() Generally, in a server, there is no desktop environment installed or needed. The problem was in net-misc/dhcpcd-6.0.2, upgrading to net-misc/dhcpcd-6.0.3 fixes it. gedit is the official text editor of the GNOME desktop environment.
