Instructional designer jobs telecommute11/8/2023 Strong theory & methodology background in Instructional Design required (Instructional Design degree a plus) The background and required skillset for this role include the following: Maintain project documentation and course foldersįacilitate engaging training to help learners more effectively retain and apply new skills.ĭynamic facilitator with the ability to engage adult learners and execute interactive training complex topicsĮngage learners in active learning sessions, stimulating active participation Conduct instructional design research and analysis on learners and contexts to develop and adjust training to improve learner understanding and execution in the fieldĪpply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods to ensure curriculum is developed to produce resultsĬreate engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances learning and deeper understanding of learning conceptsĭevelop exercises, case studies and activities that enhance the learning processĬreate supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)ĭecide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments.Outline instructional learning objectives, end goals, and learner outcomes, and create content that incorporates all to enhance learning Translate new concepts, tools and programs into theory driven training to teach end-users or stakeholders how to understand the new concepts, use the new tools and execute the new programs Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs and translate those needs into engaging, theory driven lesson plans, curriculum & interactive training You say what needs to be said, while considering how it’ll affect culture and output You make it a priority to get to know the people around you – build relationships with your colleagues and business partners You care about your work, the team you’re on, and the people we are helping This position also requires facilitation experience with the ability to engage adult learners and execute interactive training on complex topics. This role requires ability to apply methods and theories and conduct instructional research to develop curriculum, assessment tools and identify continuing educational needs. This person will create and facilitate compelling course content & learning activities working with subject matter experts to identify training needs, apply instructional design theories and methods, and utilize multimedia tools to enhance the learning process. This position is for a dynamic facilitator with Instructional Design experience and a focus on theory driven models of training adults in the workplace.
